Recently, I was asked to be a reference for one of my students in obtaining a job. The position was taking on a role of teaching disabled college students. Anne didn’t know how to write a business plan for the job outlining everything she knew she could accomplish.
When I was called for the reference, I was asked very specific questions as to why I thought Anne would be a good match for this position.
I explained that Anne was very skilled as a teacher and would be very effective with these students because she would be using Spiritual Coaching skills.
She would be teaching the students strategies to activate new beliefs and be more effective in Energy Management. Anne would be able to help them learn their material and would do this with instructions on creative visualization and partnering with their inner knowing.
There were 20 people being considered for this position… Read more

Joint ventures are an incredible way to grow your business. They are a win-win solution for both parties involved. If you have a list of small business ideas that you could use for Joint Ventures, you should get started on them!
One of my students really wanted to start Joint Venture campaigns but wasn’t sure how. We started using the Energy Management System to find out what beliefs he had around joint ventures, which ones were serving him and which were not.
I helped him to learn how to take the beliefs that were not serving him and shift those beliefs to new ones that DID serve him in what he wanted to accomplish. Read more

I have a client that proved to me that your true calling always comes about when you are ready. She had received a promotional email from me on my coaching program to become a spiritual life coach. She doesn’t know how she received the email because she wasn’t on my list but as she started reading it she began to get goosebumps.
She was a coach already and had gone through a very good program that was very intellectual based but wanted to incorporate Spirit into her work and wasn’t sure how. She had read self help books but still didn’t have an answer until she saw my email. My program was exactly what she was looking for to pull everything together for her with spiritual coaching.
She had been networking and meeting people, they were excited about her services and when they would talk she would end up giving complimentary coaching sessions as a sample of her abilities but this was like putting a bandage on a gaping wound. People would start to feel better but were not moved to change their circumstances for the better on a regular basis.

Business owners have been trained to tell people their elevator speech, give out their business cards to as many people as they can and see what comes from the networking events they attend.
The question I ask is, how do you want to be treated at a networking event? Do you want people to listen to you, have conversations with you, or just speak at you about themselves? In order to dress for success at a networking event, you have to learn a few tactics that will change the way you bring yourself into the meetings. Read more

I was recently reading a Greg Braden book called “The Spontaneous Healing Power of Belief” and found an extremely interesting story that I want to share with you.
Greg was on a spiritual retreat with a group of people and they were going to spend the day in a very special temple. They spent the morning discussing how excited they were and how wonderful it would be when they got to the temple and what impact it would have on them.
They traveled to the temple and when they got out of the bus and looked around, they noticed the guides were looking confused and pointing to their watches.
The guides didn’t speak English, so Greg went to the translator who was with them and asked what was wrong with the guides. The translator told him that it was not possible to have already reached the temple.
It had only taken them 4 hours – and it was an 8 hour trip from where they had started. Read more
What Small Business Advertising Ideas Are You Thinking Of?

Sometimes in business you need to think outside the box to find a new service or product that people are seeking out and that will make you stand out from the crowd.
I am a strong believer in having multiple streams of income in your business, and this is one way you can achieve that.
I have worked with many different businesses and among them was an auto repair shop. I was thinking outside the box and suggested they create a women’s car care center to produce multiple streams of income.
The shop implemented this and it was great! The center was targeted to appeal to women, since statistics show that women have the most influence in buying a vehicle and deciding where to service it.
The shop sent out mailings for classes on various vehicle issues such as changing tires, checking oil, and what to do in emergency situations, and they offered a special 21 point inspection so women would know what to expect in the future in vehicle repairs.
So what small business advertising ideas are you thinking of as you look to move outside the box? Read more

One of my clients is a partner in a CPA firm and he was looking for ways to bring in new business. He told me that his employees have problems bringing in new business because they don’t like to sell.
His beliefs as well as his employees were that to be in sales you have to be pushy and untruthful.
The reality of the situation is that they hadn’t done sales before and needed guidance on having conversations with people that were comfortable for them. Read more

I was recently invited to be a participant in an event for a new site launching. I was going to be a part of a video that was being developed and needed to have my script in place ahead of time.
The site this video was for will have online experts, and online resources for home based business start ups or small businesses that are looking to grow.
I always teach my students to start energetically before going ahead with a project and make sure they are aligned with themselves. Do you know what mistake I made this time? Read more
