I was surprised to find that fear of public speaking ranks higher than fear of death…aren’t you?

I have many clients that come to me for tips on public speaking because there is some reason that they are scared of it.

One of my clients is a personal trainer.  He has amazing information that needed to get out to everyone possible but he came to me terrified of public speaking.

I found out that this fear stemmed from a report he had to give in fifth grade.  Something went wrong with the report and the poor guy became the laughingstock of the class.  This held him back from wanting to speak in public again.

What Career Builders Do You Want To Implement In Your Business Right Now?

I am a Certified Spiritual Life Counselor, and over many years of working with clients I have realized that you cannot vibrate or attract for others.  They have to put that energy out themselves to get what they want back.

Often, clients come to me looking for help in career builders.  They want to open themselves up to new opportunities, take on more joint ventures, offer new services or products.

As we begin our work together I find that most of the time it is fear that is holding these people back.  They are scared to move forward because they don’t know what will happen.

What if they fail?  Well, failing is not a bad thing.  It just shows you what you need to do differently.

By shifting their belief process, my clients are able to get rid of the beliefs that are not serving them and move forward with the ones that are.  They realize that their fear is all in their head and that they really can do anything they want, they just need to believe in what they set out to accomplish.

Being in alignment with their natural talents enables my clients to start something new and exciting that they really want.

Recently, I was asked to be a reference for one of my students in obtaining a job.  The position was taking on a role of teaching disabled college students.  Anne didn’t know how to write a business plan for the job outlining everything she knew she could accomplish.

When I was called for the reference, I was asked very specific questions as to why I thought Anne would be a good match for this position.

I explained that Anne was very skilled as a teacher and would be very effective with these students because she would be using Spiritual Coaching skills.

She would be teaching the students strategies to activate new beliefs and be more effective in Energy Management.  Anne would be able to help them learn their material and would do this with instructions on creative visualization and partnering with their inner knowing.

Do You Have Trouble When You Visualize Hot To Have Your Staff Take Over In Your Absence?

My client Linda is about to have a baby any day!  She is also in the middle of preparing for a huge launch of a new business aspect.  The Challenge she is facing is whether everyone is going to get the launch off the ground OK without her managing it.

In our work together we worked on Linda being able to visualize how to let her staff take over and be confident that everything would be taken care of in her absence.

Linda started scripting how she wanted the launch to go and her feelings around it.  In a couple of weeks amazing things came together.  Linda put together a plan, got everyone on board and finally had good feelings about her maternity leave.

Linda asked her partners to visualize for her also and the group energy amped up her vision so it would appear.

I worked with an auto repair shop owner that was looking to increase his return on his direct mail.  As I began to work with him I told him he needed to align his energy up first inside to produce the results he wanted on the outside.

I asked how he felt about direct mail to which he responded that he hates it.  He said he throws it out every time he gets any in the mail because it is junk.

I explained to him that he was getting junky results because that was how his belief was about the mailings.
He began to work on his beliefs to help his spiritual selling and what was serving him versus what was not.  I taught him the progressive belief system which allowed him to make baby shifts in his beliefs over time. Read more

One of the best ideas that I came across for visualizationis to put together a “gift shop” for your visualizations.

Instead of using one board, get a photograph album from the store (the ones with the full page that is sticky on one side and has a clear plastic cover that goes over it) and put in different segments with different pictures.  You may have one segment that is business, one for personal goals, family, financial, dreams, whatever you desire.

This expands your ability because you can go through one or all sections at one time.  You can keep this organized and be able to take it with you and share it with others as you wish.  As you come across new ideas, you can put them right into the book to view daily.

I recently watched a movie that was produced back in 2006 called “Last Holiday” with Queen Latifah in it and she created a Dream Book with pictures of everything she wanted to do in life.  In the movie, she was diagnosed with a fatal disease and decided to go through her Dream Book and do everything in it since she was going to die anyway.  I won’t spoil the ending for you in case you haven’t seen it but I will tell you that it is a great movie and you can take some pointers from her Dream book in creating your own.

How Can Abraham Hicks’ “What-if-itis” Help Grow Your Business?

I was recently listening to a CD of Abraham Hicks.  In the CD, he talked about both “What-is-itis” and “What-if-itis”.

“What-is-itis” occurs when you are being held back from things in your reality.  “What-if-itis” occurs when you’re worried about what hasn’t happened yet, and that worry keeps you from moving ahead.

As I listened to the CD, I thought about one of my clients.  Let’s just call her “Sue”.

Sue suffered from “What-if-itis”.  She was afraid to call a prospect who was referred to her.  All she could think about was what would happen.  She couldn’t see anything positive coming out of from the conversation.  She didn’t believe that she was prepared for the client, or that she had had everything she needed for the client.

I worked with Sue to get rid of her “What-if-itis” until she could finally get past her fear and call the prospect.

Once she did, not only did she have a great conversation with prospect, she landed a new client that she loves working with.  This only happened when she finally got off the starting block by removing her “What-if-itis”.

As the Abraham Hicks explained in his CD, there are a number of different types of “itis”.  Each one has the same result — they hold you back from achieving the success you deserve.  These include:

  • “What-if-itis. Worrying about what hasn’t happened yet.
  • “What-is-itis”. Fearing things in your currently reality.
  • Perfectionistic-itis”. Trying to make everything perfect.
  • Analysis-paralisis-itis“.  Spending so much time thinking everything through that you don’t take risksSpending all your time planning ahead for problems that might occur.
