Have You Transformed Selling Into Serving Yet?

There are so many negative feelings around selling.  You may feel that you’re being pushy, you may feel like you’re not good at selling.  A lot of people don’t like to refer to themselves as being in sales.  They believe that people won’t like them or will think of them in a different way than what is actually true.

What you may not realize is that you are always selling.  When you suggest a restaurant to go to you are selling your companions on it.  When you suggest a family vacation you are selling your family on the destination you think should be visited.  You need to shift your beliefs around selling to have success at it.

You need to Transform Selling into Serving.  Get inside the hearts and heads of your ideal clients so you understand what they want and the specific issues you can help them solve.  By looking into their hearts and heads and finding out about the pain they are experiencing and how they would feel to have that pain go away, you are serving them in the best way you can.  You are not selling them something they don’t need…they are seeking the solution you are holding!

By serving people and offering them a solution to the problem that is making them so upset you can feel good about what you are offering to them.

Remember, you have the key to solving their problem and making their pain go away.  This is what they are buying…the solution.

By presenting the problem people are having and your solution to fix that problem and take their pain away, you have transformed selling to serving.

Let people FEEL how you can help them.  Let them FEEL your emotion.  People buy based on the emotions they are feeling and if those emotions are bad and you can make them good, then all the more reason to buy from you or work with you!

Think of when you have purchased something.  Did it help you with the problem you were having?  Did you feel better after you implemented what the solution was?  This is what you want your clients/customers to feel as well.  You didn’t feel you were being sold on something you didn’t want or need, you bought the product because of the emotion it stirred up in you!

The success of your business is directly related to the beliefs you hold around selling.  You attract clients/ customers to you based on the overall energy you are radiating.  Attracting clients is an inside job.  Your beliefs about selling either attract or repel people and directly impact your words and actions.

Do You Understand Your Niche?

The reason most people have trouble languaging their offerings is that they do not have a deep understanding of the problems their ideal clients/customers face.  A deep understanding means you are able to not just name the problem but also the tangible implications of that problem and the feelings that result from that problem and its implications.

People feel energy and when the energy is mutually fun and beneficial magic happens!  People want community that is relevant for them, their particular interests and issues.  They want meaningful community and that includes the feeling of community of connectedness of being connected to something larger.

By defining your niche- who you want to work with, why you want to work with them, what their problem is, what your solution is to the problem, what results they will get by working/buying from you…you will start resonating at a higher level energy and be attracting your ideal clients (or as I also call them VCO’s…Vibrationally Called Ones).

Once you know who you want to work with and what you want to do you will notice that the Universe will deliver to you what you need.  You don’t need to know the how right away, just make the decision, align your inner and outer energy with the decision and move forward.  The how will show up as you go and often in ways you never expected.  The Universe is funny like that.  You may think you really want one thing but the Universe will decide that no, that’s not what you need and provide you with another direction.

You learn as you go and as you go you can always change things.  The only way you become a master at anything is to fine tune what you do as you go.  You just need to get out there and start doing it because that is what will activate the energy.  Once you start you will see new opportunities and create new ideas often effortlessly.  You just need to follow your inner guidance and you will be on the path you need to be at the point in your life you are at now.  Be OK with where you are now!

Do You Participate in JV’s to Increase Your Business with New Opportunities?

A JV (Joint Venture) is an energy channel way you co-create with others to reach a greater number of VCO’s (Vibrationally Called Ones) than you could reach on your own to accomplish a specific intention and to benefit both your VCO’s (by making them aware of you and what you are offering) and all those involved in your JV partnerships (by helping them reach a larger audience as well).

JV’s enable you to make your offerings known to a larger audience, increasing your ability to reach VCO’s who are looking for what you offer and whom you would not otherwise reach.  When you are just reaching out to your own audience/followers you are targeting the same people that already know, like and trust you.  When you are in a JV relationship, you are able to reach out to an audience that may not already know you.  This is a way to expand on your audience and help others as well.

Sometimes you may be introducing someone new to your own audience that you believe can benefit them in some way.  They will appreciate that you are willing to share resources with them and your JV partner will benefit by reaching an audience that they did not know before.

I get involved in JV opportunities that resonate with me all the time.  If I feel the vibrational energy around an opportunity is high, I go for it.  If it is low in vibrational energy or doesn’t sit well with me I will pass it by.

I let my inner guidance lead me to the right path for me.  I know that if this opportunity isn’t a fit, there will be another one right around the corner that will be even better!

Do You Have The Right Language for Building Your Foundation?

Your followers are used to you using certain words. For example my followers, or people that know me know that I will use the term Spiritualpreneur in both my marketing as well as my teaching. It is the languaging that resonates with people that learn from me or buy from me. They know that I have coined this term and use it to describe the new breed of spiritual entrepreneurs out in the world now.

You need to begin to language what you offer in a way that resonates with YOUR ideal clients, laying the foundation for all of your marketing material. By doing this you are creating a way for your followers to know if you are genuinely the one they are learning from.

Your business is unique because there is only 1 of you! You have to get people to associate your business and you together.

You have what I call a USO (Unique Serving Offer), which is a brief statement you use in your business that describes what is unique to you. It distinguishes your business from someone who offers similar products and services and it is a key reason why your ideal clients choose to work with you rather than someone else offering the same service. Don’t think of others as competition. They may be in the same line of work but they are not offering the exact same things that you are. Everyone is unique in their own way and you need to discover your USO so you can use it to your advantage.

By branding yourself you will start to attract people to you that resonate with you and are seeking to work with you. You will stand out as the person with the answer to their problem and you will be authentic to them.

The Vibrational energy you are putting out will bring back the people that want to work with you and that you want to work with as well. Make sure you are sending out vibrational energy that is leading people back to you that fit your idea of an ideal client/customer. If not, re-evaluate what your thoughts and feelings are and shift your energy to where you want it to be.

Your USO will show exactly why you are unique and will resonate with people that appreciate what you do and what message you are putting out in the world.

By being authentic to YOU, you will experience success in your business and more peace in your life.

Are You Using an Online Community to Help You Manifest Abundance?

In the new energies that are emerging, especially through the social networks enabled by the internet, there is less and less separation among individuals.  In these new networks, businesses delight in their clients/customers and joyfully engage with them in a mutually beneficial, respectful and upbeat way.

Facebook, Twitter, Linked In and Ning are all social networks that are great to use when connecting with your clients/customers.  These social networks all either have groups you can join or you can start your own.

These are places to share your knowledge with others that want to hear what you have to say.  By interacting here you are showing your VOC’s (Vibrationally Called Ones) that you care and are interested in what they want to tell you.  This is a way to grow your business and show your personality.

You are allowing your VOC’s to get to know, like and trust you and you are building a relationship and Transforming Selling into Serving.

Relationship building is what social media is all about.  It is a way to share what you know and get to know the people that are interested in you.  It is a way to shine your personality through to people that you may otherwise not be in contact with.

You want to be sure you keep building relationships and interacting.  This is how you will find out what your VOC’s are seeking so you can help solve their problem.  Really listen to what people are saying.  Watch what is being posted and help them out when applicable or lead them to a source that you find valuable that you think can serve them in some way.

This is a way to manifest abundance in your business.  Abundance of clients AND money.

Look through eyes of love at the people interacting with you on your social networks and you will be amazed at all the new opportunities you will find!

Is Your Business Recession Proof?

Do you know the Formula to Selling?

In order to create a selling process there are specific questions you can ask to help people move through a co-creational energetic process.

It is a formula.  It requires a bit of a mindset shift to add structure to what you normally think of as just talking to people.

The first part of the formula is to align your own energy.  It is very effective in one on one personal connections and it can be adapted to any situation.

Before you begin communicating with someone, for example, at a speaking engagement, an interview or sales opportunity or on the telephone, you can line up your energy.

How do you do that?

First begin by partnering with your inner guidance in order to get connected intentionally at a heart level.  You want to bring your intentions in.

• What kind of intentions do you have?
• Do you want to help them to explore more?
• Do you want to serve them and be detached from the outcome?
• Why not say that?

You want to be clear about what you want to happen in the experience before you have the experience.  You are not focusing on the exact outcome but more on the essences.

How can you tell what the essence is?

Well…How do you want to feel?

What you want to feel is the essence!  You want to clearly identify how you’ll feel through the process.  This is pre-paving before you have a conversation.

This part of the formula is aligning your personal energy.  In all of this you are stating your desire to connect to your inner guidance in the conversation and to include that higher guidance in the experience to guide your words and your questions to guide the other person to their highest good!

At the end, let go of any attachment to specific ways to how it’ll all work out and ask for inspired actions from your highest guidance.

What Vibrational Pull Do You Feel?

Do you have a song that’s really special to you?  Maybe it’s “Let It Be”  or some love oriented song.  There is some reason that it’s a significant song for you.  It’s something vibrationally in how they put the song together.  It translates into a feeling for you.

Have you heard that we use only 10% of our brain?  One of your potential skill sets, like learning many languages, is telepathically reading energy and minds.

You have that ability, but you’re not currently using it.  You’re turning on those parts of your brain now whenever you activate new thoughts.  So let it be.  Let whatever has happened just be and let it be OK.

Hold the intention that you want to feel good and serve others.  Let go of any attachment to a specific outcome in your encounters with people.

Human beings get a lot more out of learning when they do something with it!

When you are talking to someone and you know they have a problem that you have the solution to, think of this in terms of the serving you are going to give to that person.

Something happened because of those problems or issues and there is a feeling that the person has because of the problem or challenge.  That turns into an implication.  Something is activated in them.

That is where the vibrational energy match happened – a match to you.

It’s really when the person comes to an awareness in themselves…like a light bulb switching on.

On a vibrational energy match level to you they are aware: “Yes, I have a challenge or issue or something I’m wanting.”

They feel energy around wanting to change that, to take action on that.  They think “ I know that when I do I’m going to feel the way I want to feel.”

You can help people align to take actions that are more in alignment with feeling that feeling.  All kinds of things can happen energetically for them.  From a serving standpoint, that is how you are guided to get inside the energy of people.

You can help because often these people don’t realize that the problem/challenge/issue they have contains these implications.

As you are connecting with them, you are holding the energy for them to be how they want to be.  You are really getting into the energy with them and helping to activate the awareness in them of the possibilities available to them that you can offer.

Have You Personally Aligned Your Energy?

When you bring up things you’re concerned about and work it out in your personal aligning formula, you’ll see that it’s OK to feel that way.

You’ll then be able to more easily shift your vibration to more of what you want to feel and become more of a match with people and situations that you would not have had access too had you not done the aligning part.

You feel calm and that energy is translated to the person you’re talking to .  You’re focused and interested in a positive outcome.

There is so much going on telepathically.  There is so much going on energetically.  You want to utilize this and leverage your energy on it.

You’ve set the intention in yourself to work to the highest good in the upcoming interaction.

Now you can set the dominant vibration for the energy flow ahead.  You do this by setting the energy stage.

Setting the energy stage means getting on the same page energetically as the person you’re connecting with. You might think of any time you’re connecting with people as a sacred serving opportunity.

You begin any sacred serving opportunity by allowing an energy of trust to be included in the communication.

• State your intentions to partner with higher energy
• Share your intentions in the conversation with someone
• Feel a sense of connection and joy
• Be detached from the specific outcome
• Ask the other person if they would like to share your intentions
• Help them feel co-creation in the experience
• Set the stage

You can ask people before you talk to them that they not multi-task during the conversation.

Make sure to ask people how they found you. You want to know what marketing efforts are working and who you might want to send a thank you note to.

You could also ask “What motivated you to contact me now?”

This is always very interesting because sometimes there are things that are happening that have catapulted someone into talking to you that move them along the scale where they’re a lot more connected vibrationally to your solutions.

Perhaps they’ve already started to become more understanding of the implications of their problems or issues.  Maybe they’re further along down that road and if so you’ll know that.

You are going to actually make this into a road map or script for yourself.

You’re taking the person and yourself through this energetic process the same way every time.

There is a tremendous amount of value and consistency in this that allows you to ultimately leverage this system and have other people sell for you!
