What Small Business Advertising Ideas Are You Thinking Of?

Sometimes in business you need to think outside the box to find a new service or product that people are seeking out and that will make you stand out from the crowd.

I am a strong believer in having multiple streams of income in your business, and this is one way you can achieve that.

I have worked with many different businesses and among them was an auto repair shop.  I was thinking outside the box and suggested they create a women’s car care center to produce multiple streams of income.

The shop implemented this and it was great!  The center was targeted to appeal to women, since statistics show that women have the most influence in buying a vehicle and deciding where to service it.

The shop sent out mailings for classes on various vehicle issues such as changing tires, checking oil, and what to do in emergency situations, and they offered a special 21 point inspection so women would know what to expect in the future in vehicle repairs.

So what small business advertising ideas are you thinking of as you look to move outside the box?
The message here is to be proactive!

• Serve people
• Start Joint Ventures with other businesses in the area such as Doctors, Hairdressers, Animal Boarding, Dentists, etc. to create referral programs and give incentives to each business to refer you to their customers
• Take advantage of the multitude of opportunities out there today through social media to poll your customers/clients to get new potential ideas on exactly what people are looking for!
  

Find out more about the people you want to serve.  Connect with people offline and online for joint ventures.  It is a win win situation for everyone involved.  This is also great small business advertising for you.

Ways to shorten the learning curve:

• Find a mentor that has done what you want to do
• Join a mastermind group and interact with them on a regular basis
• Find systems that are simple and replicatible and tweak them to fit your business

With very little effort, you can have new income streams on a regular basis in your business.  Sometimes you just need to think outside the box a little.
