Are You an Entrepreneur That is in the Right Place?

“Affirm continuously to yourself: I am in the right place, at the right time, for the right purpose.”

- Ursula Roberts

What does this inspirational quite activate in you?

When I first started out as an entrepreneur, it was a very scary jump!  I had a newborn baby girl, and I had planned to go back to my corporate sales job when the maternity leave was up.

But when the time drew closer for me to return to that job, I just knew that I wanted to do something different. I had an intense passion and desire to start out on my own as an entrepreneur.

I felt the strength of this desire like it was a pager going off inside of me – it was loud and incessant and it wouldn’t stop!

I also knew that if I didn’t start right then – if I continued to put it off until everything fell into place (enough money, enough security, enough time, etc.) – I would never do it.

It wasn’t easy!  My husband was worried, my family was worried, I was worried.  It’s never difficult to begin to let fear win out – especially when you know you’ve got about 3 months to get your business up and running before you have to start selling stuff!

But I did affirm that quote to myself every day, “I am in the right place, at the right time, for the right purpose.”

I knew that I wasn’t working alone anymore.  I knew that I was in the place where I should be, even if it seemed like the rug of security was pulled out from underneath me! And it did work out.  I replaced my corporate income in the first year of starting my own business.

To me, it’s saying that even when things are happening around you that don’t look the way you think they should, it is all part of moving towards your vision.

  • The way you can best move through times like that is to focus on how you want to feel.
  • Be OK with the fact that you may not be feeling the way you want, and not seeing what you want to see.
  • You can let it be OK.

I had to let acknowledge and let it be OK that I was stepping out on a ledge as an entrepreneur.  I couldn’t deny those feelings or pretend they weren’t there. No one is ever a vibrational match to denying how they feel.  You have got to let it be OK before you can change anything.

The journey is always an emotional journey first.

You do need to find some kind of relief – even a small sense of relief – in the feelings that feel suffocating or tight so that you can allow yourself to take one step at a time up the vibrational ladder.

Know that no matter where you find yourself in your life experience, the power to create is in the present moment.

Even when things seem challenging, continue to affirm that you are in the right place and stop pushing against where you are. Even if you don’t understand how it will all work out, you will feel some sense of relief starting.

It is only when you are in this higher vibrational place that you can begin to attract the solution.

You can begin to start to trust that you are not alone in this journey, and you can partner with your Inner Guidance to help you when things don’t look or feel the way you want them too in the present moment.

Everything can change in an instant. As you partner with Spirit, no matter what, you are always in the right place at the right time for the right purpose.

If you want to hear more about this concept and how being a Spiritualpreneur can actually recession-proof your business, listen to the recording of a teleclass I held on this subject recently at:  www.coachingfromspirit.com/SPBlog.

Ken Foster from Shared Vision Network joined me on the call, along with Bill White (the Synchronicity Expert), Debbi Chambers (author of Manifest Success), and Chuck Abbott (Top Marketing Trainer).

Sometimes you just have to follow your heart and let the chips fall where they may. Happiness is more important than security, at times…

  2. Hey Ursula,
Damn cool picture. Looks like the Nevis bunjee I done in New Zealand. I truly believe that faith has mapped out a path for every entrepreneur. They will go through ups and downs along the way but now matter what, from once a seed(s) of a buisness thought out in their mind, they are subconsiously pushed to move it forward. Failure or Success will only help them apply their learnings in their next venture.
