Are You Using Dream Interpretation?

I had a very powerful dream when I went through my health ‘bump’ last year.  It was an extremely powerful experience for me, and in large part was due to the fact that I had been doing a lot of dream interpretation and spiritually oriented work around dreams.

I really believe that dreams are an incredible opportunity for our Inner Guidance to connect with us during the time that we are most open to receiving guidance – our sleep!  During the day is when you are consistently distracted – ‘jamming’ the airwaves if you will – and sleep is when the channels become clear.

So at this time of the health issues that I was experiencing, I had been praying and doing a lot of work about wanting to be free and healed of this thing that was going to require surgery.

I had never previously had any real health issues – the only time I was ever in the hospital was to have daughter, so I was very much not involved in the health system and all the associated feelings that go with that.

So when this health bump did come up, it really was an opportunity for growth, though that wasn’t easy to see right away at the time! As I explored options for healing, I began to look at every aspect of my life, and my dreams were also included in this experience.

I started to really look at my dreams and work with my spiritual mentor, Ruth Lee, on how I could begin to use my dreams to ultimately help in the process for my healing.

So during this time (it was actually the night before I was to go in for my pre-surgery tests), I had this powerful dream in which I was fighting something – it was like a black presence that was hanging over me and filling me with fear.

And in this dream I was very clearly directed to sing a song (I can still hear the melody when I think of it today), and the words of the song were, “Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, heal me now…

I grew up with a Christian background, and though I know have a more expanded view of applying spiritual principles in my life, I still have a strong connection to and feel very warm and loving toward those energies from the Christian faith – they are ideas that I have included in a broader way in my own experience now.

And it was so powerful because I literally could not speak in this dream, but I could hear this song and these words in my mind, and I just kept thinking over and over again that I had to sing it.

Pretty soon in my dream I because so afraid because of this presence, that finally the words just came and I was singing it out at the top of my lungs!

This dream experience went on through the whole night.  Different things would happen and I would wake up sweating and fall back asleep into the dream once again.  But throughout the whole night, I had a knowing deep within me that something was being worked out through this dream.

When I woke in the morning, I knew that I had been healed.  I knew that when I went in for my test scheduled that day, it would show the evidence of what had been revealed to me in this dream. And I was right!

It was only through really understanding how dream interpretation and how to really use dreams that I was able to have that experience.

I knew I had been someplace else – that I had crossed over into another dimensional reality – and I really believe that dreams are the doorway into experiencing other dimensional realities and to really expanding our abilities of what we see is possible for us in human form.

Dreams offer incredible opportunities – they are chances to communicate with loved ones who have crossed over; they are openings through which we can receive clear direction from inner guidance – they are often even prophetic.

I believe that dreams have traditionally been very misunderstood – that people don’t know how to get a handle on the meaning behind them and it causes a lot of confusion.

I know that Native American and many other indigenous tribes really make dreams a big part of their spiritual practice and a big part of their lives – they consider dreams to be very sacred and very powerful.

Dreams have gotten shortchanged in most of our own spiritual experiences – we just don’t know things like:

  • How to interpret them
  • What to do with them
  • How to influence them

This is why I am so excited about a retreat that is coming up in September with my spiritual mentor, Ruth Lee that is designed to bring clarity to this entire area of your spiritual life. Ruth is calling this a Vision Quest, and the whole program is going to be customized for each person about dreams, dream interpretation and how to really influence and use your dreams in practical ways.

We can learn a lot from our dreams – they give us the chance to connect at deeper level, amp up ability to receive messages from the other side and our inner guidance – we just need to know how to do it!

We’re going to be spending time in this retreat really getting immersed in the whole experience of dreams and how to utilize your dreams in valuable ways in order to provide you with greater prosperity, health, and peace of mind in all areas of your life.

If you want to learn more about how you can join us on this special retreat, visit here today.  The retreat takes place in September of 2009, and I wanted to be sure to tell you about it now to give you time to prepare for this amazing experience.

I regularly dream about losing my teeth or eyes, i think this is quite common.
When young i would always dream about a large lion in some type of heaven, which was very comforting at the time. Any ideas what that meant?
Some of my friends who struggle with hypertension or depression have regular dreams. I believe it is normally based around what they were thinking about just before they went to sleep, such as a stress related issue in their lives.
I believe in time we will learn more about dreams and use them as a way to diagnose problems and sources of stress. For now, i think the brain is a relative mystery to doctors.

I’ve always been interested in dream analysis. Whenever I have one of those weird dreams I try to look up what it means. It is interesting to find out how our brains interpret some of the external factors when we sleep.

I have this re-occurring dream where a storm is coming. It never actually gets there within the dream, but I am always afraid of it. It’s always worried me about what might be on the horizon in my real everyday life.

Storm means feeling battered by events and emotions.

  14. Thom from Drug Rehab Utah says:

During the day, we are under the sign of rationality and our actions are dictated by logic. But when we sleep, the brain no longer works this way. It’s than when it has the chance to combine our real perspective with the fantastic one. Most dreams are based on real life events but they tend to break the barriers of reality. I consider dreams to have a major role in us having an imagination and I am sure that if they are well interpreted, they can reveal things that we didn’t even know about ourselves.

I already had a dream like that, and I decided to search,
