What Do You Want to Experience This Year as an Entrepreneur?

I was recently listening to a newscaster talk about how she had lost 100 pounds in a year.

She was saying, “Well, I started out with just walking one block.  When I first started I was very winded, and I couldn’t even make it for the whole block!

But I made the decision that I was going to walk that one block every day.

Then, every day, I just tried to walk a couple more steps.  A block and a couple more steps…a block and a couple more steps…”

Pretty soon that block became 2 blocks.  Then it became 3 blocks. Then it became a mile.  Then it became 3 miles. Then she was training for her first marathon.

Baby step by baby step, she got to that point of losing 100 pounds!

The funny thing is, it’s those very small steps that are often what gets you into trouble in the first place!

Getting to point of having tangled energy as an entrepreneur doesn’t happen overnight!  Step by step, you allow things to build up until all of a sudden you’re in the middle of a pile of beliefs:

  • That you can’t get any sales this year
  • That no one is going to want your services
  • That you just don’t have any value…

It doesn’t happen overnight.  It happens little by little – which is why you’ve got to start detangling it little by little.  It’s all about getting some energetic traction that will keep you from sliding into that pile of beliefs that aren’t serving you in the New Year.

When you’re trying to gain traction for yourself as an entrepreneur, it’s important to first get really clear on what you DON’T want to experience this year.

I teach a process called the Order Form to the Universe, and I live by an energy management system that all begins with starting to get very clear on what you don’t want and what you don’t want to experience.

It is from that point that you can then get very clear on what you DO want in every area of your life.

What do you want to experience?

You think that if you can reach a certain goal or achieve a certain thing or have a certain goody or toy that it’s going to make you feel a certain way, right?

That is why it is actually more effective to focus on what you want on a feeling level BEFORE focusing on it on a goal level. How do you want to feel?

The feelings and the experiences are the essences behind the goal – they are what you are really after.

If you can activate the feeling first, it allows you to become a vibrational match to the actions or the things that you want, which is what brings manifestation.

Starting to manage your energy at a feeling level can actually be very simple (remember those baby steps?)

After you write down all the things you don’t want, create an Order Form to the Universe about one thing – one thing in the next 30 days that you want to accomplish so that you can get some traction on getting a plan and getting some actions going.

You don’t have to solve all of 2009 in the next 30 days.

But if you can get a little bit of traction and really have the energy of moving forward on something, you’re going to be way more likely to do that in other things.

So just start with one thing – whether it be personal or business – one thing that you want to accomplish, and use the Order Form to the Universe process to begin to get greater clarity on it.

It will get the momentum going that you need to begin moving in the right direction of achieving what you want as a Spiritualpreneur in the New Year.

I like the idea of taking things on step at a time. Success is not going to happen overnight nor should you expect it too. Focus on the small things and slowly work them into big gains.

This year I want to just learn how to focus on one project at a time. I never get things done because I’m too scatterbrained.

  3. Thank you John!

I’ve always felt that oftentimes people want to mentally jump the Grand Canyon – and you just can’t do something like that!

Shifting a little bit at a time is what brings results – not discouragement!

Thank you for your insight on this. :)

  4. Wow Linda – I’ve been in that place before! That’s why it’s exciting and helpful for me to be able to manage my focus at an energetic level – when I start to feel that I am scattered, I immediately focus on managing my energy around whatever it is to keep things from spinning out of control.

Peace,Love, and Light. At the beginning of 09 it was decided that this was to my year of JOY and lots of it; just had to believe it to make it so. The question then was why it was not already believed; and to answer that lead to the question what are the underlying and sabotagin beliefs?

This was starting to get complicated. But, its like, when the student is ready the teacher appears…One mind expanding experience after another has filled the days and months of this exciting year 2009 so much so that its beginning to feel like it’s too much in some vague way. However the overwhelmed-ness is not applicable to the financial feeling and arena; there is no vagueness in that respect. (Please say that you are aware of the droll humor with which that was intended). So, the mind expanding experiences are wonder-filled but the energy to implement them is sooooo lacking: bookkeekping, cleaning, buying, product making, product packaging, product distribution…and doing this by myself just has not been translated or imaged as joyous. That’s just a little of what this spirit having a human experience has been thinking.

Just get my feet settled. Between my regular job and regular life, it’s hard to get a new venture off the ground and I’m struggling to get it kick started.
