What Does it Mean to be a Spiritualpreneur in Your Own Business?

Holding hands with a child from the Miracle Fo...
The call to hold someone’s hand…

Spiritualpreneurs are people that are really feeling called to do some kind of business, but in a different way than business is “normally” done.

I want to make it clear – being a Spiritualpreneur doesn’t have anything do to with having a “spiritual” kind of business – a healer, massage therapist, acupuncturist, psychic reader, etc. – those type of professions that are more “spiritually” oriented.

That’s not what being a Spiritualpreneur is about!

A Spiritualpreneur might be someone that owns a franchise, or works in the stock market, or someone that is also a mom-preneur.

It’s not about what you DO.

It is about HOW you want to experience your own business.

Spiritualpreneurs are those that recognize that business is just as important to run from an Inner level as it is from an Outer level. They are people that want to apply Universal Principles in their business because they can see the peace and success that it brings.

Spiritualpreneurs are people that have some sort of calling inside them to do something more – to make a difference – to serve others in a way that is beyond the sole goal of making money or attaining success.

I have had the opportunity to work with Spiritualpreneurs in many varied lines of business.

I worked with a Vice President of a bank that really felt a calling to serve people; she thought about doing volunteer work or changing her career.  She actually ended up in one of my coaching programs and now consistently has clients!

It’s not only an extra added income stream for her, but it fulfills her desires and she likes what she’s doing.

One person that I started working with recently went through cancer.  She is in remission and healed from the cancer, but one thing she noticed was that there wasn’t really a lot of support for cancer patients after all the treatments happened.

There can be long-term, residual physical issues from the ways of treating cancer.  And this woman saw that there was really a need to work with people, to support them and hold their hand after they’ve gone through that journey. Read more

Do You Understand the Importance of Making Wise Investments for Your Own Business During These Times?

337/365: The Big Money
Are you Investing in Your Own Business?

Many people are finding right now that it’s necessary to make adjustments in where they are allocating their resources, and it is very useful at any time to get even more clear on what you are spending in your own business so that you can allocate your resources to whatever is going to serve you the most.

It just might be that there’ll be certain projects that you’re going to put on the back burner, because they’re just not as important from a priority standpoint.

This is really something that is useful to be doing all the time, but I know that business owners tend to get more into the bigger picture sometimes and not so much the nitty gritty, day to day, week to week aspects of where they are really spending money.

The thing is, while it’s important to have the strength and confidence to maybe put off some projects that you may be really excited about, but maybe just aren’t the best thing to be spending resources on right now – it’s equally as important to have the strength and confidence to continue to invest in those things that will help your business move forward to greater success.

I like to evaluate, on a weekly basis:

  • What am I allocating my resources to?
  • Are there other ways I can better leverage those resources?
  • Are there investments that would really make more sense for me now to?

I recently made the decision to invest in an online Project Management system.  My team and I researched the costs, the benefits, how it would assist the business in streamlining everyone’s work together, and at the end of all this, I decided to make the investment.

If you have your own business, and you’re hunkering down – trying to weather the storm – and you’re not willing to put resources into anything right now, it’s probably not going to do you much good in the long run!

The key opportunity that times like these bring around is that they really force you to focus on what is necessary and what is unnecessary.  The thing is, you can swing both ways in your own business.  You can throw money at every idea that comes up, or you can refuse to spend a penny on anything beyond the bare necessities.

Neither of those attitudes are going to get you to the success that you are looking for!  That is why you need to know how to manage your business from both an Inner and Outer level.  If you are managing at an Inner, or energetic level, you can more clearly make those decisions regarding investments.

You will be calm and aligned at an energetic level with whatever steps you want to take, which will make those steps even more effective!

There’s a lot of thinking outside the box going on right now – people are turning to new ways of allocating their resources and even new ways of using their current employees.
