How Are You Solving Problems?

Going through all of these lessons with you on the 30 Day Empowered Spiritualpreneur Challenge, I keep
remembering how it all began…
I used to work in corporate sales, and I was really very good at what I did – but I often felt like something was missing.
Most of these processes came from those same seeds that were sown years ago when I was in that place. I wasn’t as connected or really trusting that connection then, but I was asking (even before I knew I was asking) and I was getting glimmers of all these things that eventually evolved into what you are learning now.
The Problem/Solution Template covered in the most recent Lessons posted in the 30 Day Empowered Spiritualpreneur Challenge came about because of my own frustrations with trying to use the scripted sales material that I was being taught and expected to use.
There were all these scripts written on how to engage people and how to get to their pain and how to overcome their objections.
And the agenda that is at the core of those scripts is always to get YOU to do what I WANT you to do.
It always felt very uncomfortable to me, because I didn’t feel like I was being genuine.
Even when the script worked, it didn’t feel the best. I would think, “How do I even know if this is something they even want or even need?” It was all about just kind of regurgitating this pushy, scripted process.
I just always had this feeling that there HAD to be
a better way…
It’s the same with all of these tools – they came to me because of my own contrast and my own challenges and my own misalignment with the accepted way of doing things – the feeling in the pit of my stomach that this just doesn’t feel right – that there had to be a better way.
I knew that if I could just help people connect that really did ultimately want and need what I had that I would be an answer to their prayer and they would be an answer to mine.
So I started asking, “How can I do that?” Read more
Are You Using Your Eyes of Love?

So often people say to me, “I just have a hard time talking about what I do – I am really excited about it, but when I share my product or service, people seem to get that dear in the headlights look. It feels like I am interrupting them or selling them…”
I had these exact same issues when I was in sales representing different companies in the corporate world, and I desperately needed to find a way where I could be in alignment with languaging what I was offering in a way that felt good for me and for the person I was talking to!
The Activations you’re getting into in Lessons 10 & 11 of the 30 Day Empowered Spiritualpreneur Challenge that were just posted came to me as a response to some of the problems/challenges/issues that I had in my selling process that were causing an emotional reaction within me that was not serving me.
Essentially, it was causing me to not manage my energy – I was experiencing angst, fear, worry, and concern about sales.
When the solutions did come to me, it literally changed everything about what I was doing! That is why I want to share these lessons with the world – to let you know that there IS hope!
You don’t have to feel that you are not good enough, that you can’t do it, that you don’t have what it takes…
All you need is for someone to hold you by the hand and take you step by step through it – a way to shorten the learning curve, which is the Intention behind the 30 Day Empowered Spiritualpreneur Challenge.
One of my very first connections with partnering with Spirit in my work and life and business came with the Eyes of Love Activation that you will learn in Lesson 10.
I had an executive position in sales in a corporate office, and I was very good at what I did. But something was missing…the entire sales process always seemed so pushy and manipulative and just like I was forcing my company’s agenda onto people all the time!
But one day, all of that changed. Read more
Do You Feel That You Are Alone as a Business Entrepreneur?

The journey to success is a bit like taking off an old tattered jacket and putting on an entirely new and different garment. Before you can enjoy the new clothing, you must be prepared to shed the old.
Your worries and feelings of living in a limited world of scarce resource, talent, opportunity, and luck are like that old tattered garment.
They can obscure your best intentions, literally robbing you of your dreams. You need to shed the old garment.
Have you ever awakened in the middle of the night worrying about…
“What if the clients don’t show up?” Or,
“What am I going to do if…” Or maybe just felt that sense of,
“What am I doing wrong? Why can’t I get a break?”
In my coaching business, there was a point where I could not break through to the success I wanted. I felt alone and it seemed I had to keep dancing as fast as I could or the money and work would just evaporate.
Sometimes my clients came in a rush and times were good. But when we had completed our work, the clients left, and it was as if I were unemployed, starting all over again!
If I was sick or couldn’t work, I didn’t make money. I constantly worried that it would all fall apart and I would have to go get a job.
Meanwhile, many coaches and other self-employed business professionals were doing well – they were enjoying healthy incomes and working the way they WANTED to work. I knew plenty of those people, and I started to ask, “Why? What were they doing differently that led to their success as a business entrepreneur?” Read more
Does Asking People to Pay for What You Are Offering as an Entrepreneur Make You Feel Bad?

One of my students came to me the other day to gain clarity on an issue with which she was having some contrast.
She’s been learning about the power of Intentions and attracting what you want in your life and business, and she came to me with the following question:
“If my Intention is to attract my ideal client who is willing and able to pay for my services and products, how do I reconcile this when I’m writing an article on creating financial independence and speaking to people who are finding that life is a continual struggle?
I find that many people today are stressed out, tired, feeling overwhelmed and depressed. How can they pay for my services and products when they can’t make ends meet?
It seems as though I’m asking the Universe for one thing as an entrepreneur, and then doing something completely different. But I know that I have the solution to their problems!”
The first thing I said to her was, “Let me see if I understand this correctly. Your ideal client is someone who doesn’t have any money to pay you?”
She answered, “Right now, yes. A lot of them want the work – the products and services that I am offering – but they can’t pay for it”.
I came back to her again: “But my question is, is your ideal client someone that doesn’t have any money to pay you, or is not willing to allocate resources to pay you?” Read more
How Can You Make Writing Promo Copy for Local Joint Ventures Easy?

I wanted to continue a bit in the theme of doing your in-person workshop, as it’s such a great marketing tool to promote your product or service (and unique in these days of everything being online!)
When I did the in-person workshop for the Heavenly Meals concept (which I later sold for a good profit), my first goal – after managing my energy around the project – was to find local Joint Venture partners to support and promote the workshop.
This wasn’t as difficult as you may think!
On my first try, I just walked into a Curves – in a great jogging suit, with great hair and make-up. I walked in and asked for the owner.
I said to her, “As a business owner myself, I’m always looking ways to create money without putting any money out. I’m looking for a few partners in a project that can expose you to a lot of women who would then be exposed to Curves. Do you have a few minutes?”
Then I asked her, “Would you rather hand out the fliers and do the 10% option or do a hosting and get 20%?”
She couldn’t do it the first month, but she did it the next month and booked for 2 months!
You just have to do it, you just have to try. I wasn’t saying a lot. I showed her in a couple sentences – Make more money without paying out, expose more people to Curves – when she heard that, of course she was going to talk to me!
Once you get the partners for your Joint Ventures, you’ll want to give them their promotional copy (one of the ideas I live by in organizing Joint Ventures is: Always make it JOYFUL and EASY for your partners!)
It will always help to leverage your time when you can come up with a formula for writing copy. Once you have the template, all you have to do is plug in the details – no need to re-invent the wheel every time!
Here is a formula that you can use for writing copy that a JV partner can use to promote your in-person workshop: Read more
What is the Energetic Element of YOUR Free Workshop?

When you use the Free Workshop Approach to market your product or service, you’re using the same consultative process you would use one on one, except that you’re doing it with a lot of people at one time.
You’re doing it with groups, which provides the platform for your products and services to be offered and sold.
These are groups of people that haven’t had the opportunity and the pleasure of connecting with you yet.
- You are moving as a Spiritualpreneur to that level where you’re standing in a more powerful place.
- You are letting your light come out from under the bushel.
- You are drawing attention to who you really are and what you have to offer in a bold way!
Creating and maintaining the connection of your individual personality to that of Spirit is energy.
It is the energy that these people are going to be served for the highest good of all and that they’re attracted to you because of who you are and what you offer. Their pager is going off to your number and vibrationally, you are there to serve them.
There are so many of them out there and together that you need to create vehicles for them to you find you. You can stay in your home office and hope they will get to you at some point but it will take longer.
Just get out there so they can find you and let the momentum snowball to your Vision!
Most people offering a free workshop go in with an idea of something that they want to impart. Often they do this great workshop and they just workshop their heart out.
They go in and teach, teach, teach, teach, teach. Read more
What Does it Mean to do Joint Ventures Backwards?
February 8, 2009 by Sharon Wilson

The approach that I like to take when developing any kind of program is to reverse-engineer – or reverse-create – it by starting at the end and going backwards.
You start by really thinking about the gap for your clients or customers that your product or service will address – begin with what you are going to offer to your vibrationally matched clients and everything has to seed back to that.
When I created my in-person workshop and marketing venture called Heavenly Meals, it was very successful because it identified and focused on a real gap; it brought together the “right” team to address the gap; it attracted Joint Venture partners to support the project, and then I was able to easily market a well-organized workshop to the market.
After just a short time, I was able to sell this business for a profit and move on to other ventures.
Most people get tangled when they try to write a workshop (or a teleseminar or an interview) because they see a blank page and try to figure out what they are going to present or teach.
You don’t have to do this!
You can fast forward to the end of your presentation and:
- Examine the problems/issues for your ideal client or group
- Identify what their challenges are
- Then identify what your solutions are to those challenges
When you can clearly see the gap for them, you can then easily create solutions to offer for their challenges.
This is creating starting from the end and moving toward the introduction. You can think, “Now I will work backwards and create the element that will support them taking a next action and will activate in them that what I am offering to them is a solution”.
This really leverages your time and energy.
What’s so great about reverse creating your in–person workshop is that you are simply activating the gap and seeding. By following this process, you will see that by the end of the workshop they are saying, “I want this, I need this”, and it is a totally irresistible offer.
All you have to do is think about what programs you have and what would be an amazing offer for them. From there you can create all the different pieces of the workshop that would support it.
The onsite workshop is a 90-minute to two-hour free, local workshop where you are actually live in-person. It gives you exponential opportunities to energetically tap your potential ideal clients’ senses so you can even more deeply connect with them. Read more
Have You Ever Thought About How You Can do Joint Ventures “Offline”?
February 7, 2009 by Sharon Wilson

Teleseminars and Joint Ventures are great ways to market your business on the Internet.
But have you ever thought about leveraging those same ideas and activating your ability to do an in-person seminar and have the same great success?
This is yet another marketing channel for you to easily and effortlessly connect to your ideal clients and be a huge revenue producer.
What makes this process so easy is that the principles and formula for the Internet campaign are the same for the in-person seminar.
You get to discover Joint Venture folks who are on-fire to promote your work, as well as give gifts from them to your ideal clients so that you are also promoting them.
This is the essence of the energy exchange.
Connecting with your ideal clients in person this way can actually be easier than something like a teleseminar, because you are really able to tap their different senses.
Awhile back I made a decision to create my own in-person workshop to identify and address a gap that I had in my own life. I then attracted the “right” business partner and together we created products and services to support others who also experienced this same gap in their lives.
As a busy mother of a young child, I often found myself doing what I called the “five o’clock freezer stare” when it came time to figuring out what to serve my family for dinner after a long day.
I just knew that others shared that feeling of lack of time and energy to cook as well as concern for wanting good, nutritional meals for the family. Therefore, Heavenly Meals was born.
This business was born out of my gap and I was looking for people to support who felt just like me.
For the Heavenly Meals Workshop, I didn’t do any fee-based advertising in the newspapers – it was all Joint Ventures. My business partner and I ended up having over 100 people at the workshop.
You can always do advertising if you feel led – just remember that Joint Ventures don’t cost you anything, or very little. And they give you great local connections!
You can keep costs at a minimum and do customized mailers. I opted to write the copy for the Joint Venture partners to give them an example of an endorsement and just let them sign their name to it.
I simply told them, “I’ll write it for you and you can tweak it to make it personalized from you, but I’ll set everything up to make it totally easy for you.”
In terms of hosting, you can also offer the opportunity that someone hosts your promotional workshop and get 20% of all revenue in return as their referral fee.
I did this for that workshop, and then went out to look for folks for their goody-bag stuff.
So, I did:
- Marketing first to get Joint Venture partners
- Created all the promotional copy that was then sent out to potential ideal clients
- Handled all the logistical set-up
- And wrote the script for the workshop
If this seems like something that is intimidating or overwhelming, remember to always begin any project at an inner level. Manage your energy around it before taking ANY action.
Before you begin to put together the documents, formulas and outlines that you will need, take an opportunity to activate your connection to Spirit about this workshop approach. You can use the following Activation Exercise for this purpose: Read more

Are You an Entrepreneur That is in the Right Place?

“Affirm continuously to yourself: I am in the right place, at the right time, for the right purpose.”
- Ursula Roberts
What does this inspirational quite activate in you?
When I first started out as an entrepreneur, it was a very scary jump! I had a newborn baby girl, and I had planned to go back to my corporate sales job when the maternity leave was up.
But when the time drew closer for me to return to that job, I just knew that I wanted to do something different. I had an intense passion and desire to start out on my own as an entrepreneur.
I felt the strength of this desire like it was a pager going off inside of me – it was loud and incessant and it wouldn’t stop!
I also knew that if I didn’t start right then – if I continued to put it off until everything fell into place (enough money, enough security, enough time, etc.) – I would never do it.
It wasn’t easy! My husband was worried, my family was worried, I was worried. It’s never difficult to begin to let fear win out – especially when you know you’ve got about 3 months to get your business up and running before you have to start selling stuff! Read more
