Do You Know What Your Job Really is as an Entrepreneur?

I hear from a lot from people on how they are feeling a sense of wanting to go to another level as an entrepreneur, but are not really sure what they need to do.
I’ve seen a lot of things out there. Certainly a lot of people are talking about the Law of Attraction!
The thing is, you really can begin to feel a sense of freedom. You really can feel a sense of ease and flow no matter what’s happening to you or around you.
This is something that is so crucial in recession proofing your life and your business, whether you’ve been an entrepreneur for years, are just starting out as one, or if your career is working for someone else (not yourself).
When I made the transition into starting my own business, it was all about partnering with my Inner Guidance. I call that my Inner Coach, and my success as an entrepreneur came through really allowing that Inner Guidance to guide me in my business.
My whole job, from my perspective, is opening up the connection to my Inner Guidance, keeping that connection open as much as I possibly can, and managing my own vibrational output.
I’m just going to give you a little foundation on that, because I really think this is what your jobs are. Your job, when you’re connected to your Inner Guidance – and you know when you’re connected to your Inner Guidance – it’s when you’re in a state of:
- Peace
- Flow
- Feeling in higher vibrational energies
That’s when you have the strongest connection to your Inner Guidance/Inner Coach. Read more
Why is it Important for an Entrepreneur to be Healthy in Body & Spirit?

Yesterday I mentioned how even as a busy entrepreneur, it IS possible to find the time to manage your energy throughout your day. The key is all about not making a big production out of it!
I understand that entire mental state, because I used to MAKE time in my day to do all of these things – meditation, affirmations, yoga, spiritual energy management, etc., etc.
I had a special room set up in my house with all sorts of temple stuff for meditation, and special equipment in my office for my exercises, and special clothes to wear…and while it made it all kind of exciting at first, it got to the point where it just felt like, “I don’t have the time to do all this stuff!”
But at the same time, I really believe that it is important to do all of these things on a daily basis, which is why I began to shift my perception around the whole idea of adding to my TO DO list vs. just finding spaces in the day to leverage my time and energies.
I shared yesterday on getting your energy management steps done before you even leave your bedroom in the morning (can you imagine what a great opening that is to your day?).
Here are a couple of other steps I like to take to make sure I fit the soul care in with my daily, necessary outer actions:
When I have to drive anywhere, I don’t ever listen to the radio anymore. Read more
Do You Know How Much You Can Accomplish as an Entrepreneur Before You Even Leave Your Bed in the Morning?

Business people often say they just don’t have time to do things like meditations and “soul” work.
I mean, if you think about it, there’s CDs to clear your chakras, CDs to magnetize money to you, subliminal, paraliminal things you can be doing – there’s lots of different things you can do in this area!
One of the things I hear often as an entrepreneur is, “How do you ever find the time to do all those different things?”
Because on a daily basis:
- I magnetize for my business
- I clear my energy fields, my chakras, and create a connection
- I go through a series of physical exercises to balance my chakras with the 5 Rites
- I do a number of things like this every day…
And I hear it all the time – “How do you do that?”
I’ve actually come to a point where I have shifted my perspective entirely on finding the time to do these things. And it’s all about creating spaces during the times that you are doing activities that you would have to do anyway.

Are You in Entrepreneur Overwhelm?

For many entrepreneurs, adding new elements, learning new tools or simply needing to make some changes creates stress.
And stress can often tempt you to revert to old ways of coping or managing things.
If you are bumping into that right now or sometime in the future, it’s a good time to remember to invest some time in managing your energies.
If your business is not where you want it to be or you can’t seem to take the next step as an entrepreneur, you need to Read more
Do You Need a Process for Setting Up as an Entrepreneur?

If you’re starting out as an entrepreneur, I always suggest that you begin with an inner level energy management foundation to help you to pre-pave the energy for the actions that you will need to take in setting up your own business.
At the same time, if you don’t have any idea of what the outer level processes would be for your business, it can be a little bit daunting to try to manage your energy around it!
I believe that the Inner level and Outer level are equally important to every entrepreneur – in fact, seeing these things as equally important is what makes you a Spiritualpreneur!
But if you are a little nervous about what exactly to do for taking those next actions, keep in mind some of the following steps that will be very helpful to you as tried and true ways that you can go about setting up!
First, decide on Full Proprietorship vs. LLC. Your decision is an individual one and may depend on your tax situation and current income levels. Interview an accountant or a tax preparer to get more information.
This decision is important for you and for the IRS. If you are going to be a sole proprietor, the accountant can tell you what you need to keep and how to keep it.
Set yourself up properly and stay in alignment with good records.

What Do You Want to Experience This Year as an Entrepreneur?

I was recently listening to a newscaster talk about how she had lost 100 pounds in a year.
She was saying, “Well, I started out with just walking one block. When I first started I was very winded, and I couldn’t even make it for the whole block!
But I made the decision that I was going to walk that one block every day.
Then, every day, I just tried to walk a couple more steps. A block and a couple more steps…a block and a couple more steps…”
Pretty soon that block became 2 blocks. Then it became 3 blocks. Then it became a mile. Then it became 3 miles. Then she was training for her first marathon.
Baby step by baby step, she got to that point of losing 100 pounds!
The funny thing is, it’s those very small steps that are often what gets you into trouble in the first place!
Getting to point of having tangled energy as an entrepreneur doesn’t happen overnight! Step by step, you allow things to build up until all of a sudden you’re in the middle of a pile of beliefs:
- That you can’t get any sales this year
- That no one is going to want your services
- That you just don’t have any value…
It doesn’t happen overnight. It happens little by little – which is why you’ve got to start detangling it little by little. It’s all about getting some energetic traction that will keep you from sliding into that pile of beliefs that aren’t serving you in the New Year.
When you’re trying to gain traction for yourself as an entrepreneur, it’s important to first Read more
How Can You Activate the Unique Serving Offer of Your Own Business?

When I first told my mom that I was a coach, she said, “Of course you are”.
And then she reminded me of the time I brought a little boy home on the school bus with me to teach him his ABC’s because he was having trouble in school. My mom said, “Who’s your friend?”
And when I told her, she said, “Does his mom know he’s here with you to learn his ABC’s?”
And of course, his mom had no idea where he was!
But I learned from others that they saw me as an activator, a cheerleader – and that I helped them move easily through things and they were able to access other possibilities.
I wasn’t always aware of my unique gifts.
These things were natural for me and sometimes when that happens, you don’t see the value in them; you think everyone does or knows that; you don’t think that it is unique.
One of my clients is a spa owner. She is really unique in that she has the ability to intuit exactly how people would look at their very best; she can see it and offer it in a progressive plan of action.
She can see a picture of the best hair color, the most beautiful hairstyles that would fit the shape of their face, and how their features can be best enhanced with make-up they should be using. She can always see the very best for them.
She is very directive, and she makes recommendation about things that people may not usually pay for. She activates possibilities in her clients. Her clients simply put their appearance in her hands and they totally trust her.
When you are in touch with your passion – with what makes you REALLY unique, you can stand in a more authentic place of power about what you are doing and offering – including asking for your price.
When you have achieved awareness of your ideal client, your uniqueness, and your niche, you can move forward very comfortably and freely as yourself.

Do You Know What is Unique About Your Own Business?

One of my favorite clients was a Minnesota family that owned a small car repair business. When I was helping them explore and identify their uniqueness, they told me that they didn’t have anything that made them particularly unique.
Upon digging deeper, they shared that it was very important to them that their customers felt like family.
So they put homemade cookies on the car seat when the car was fixed, so that when you picked up your car, you got warm, fresh, home-baked sweets.
They would also pick up their customers and drive you to where they wanted to go while they fixed their cars. They even gave their customers a loaner car while they were doing repairs. They thought everyone did this, so they didn’t see it as unique!
They were genuinely caring, hospitable people who treated everyone like family. Thus, who they are and what they have provided ever since they created their business 20 years ago became their Unique Serving Offer (USO).
“Joe’s auto repair shop, where we treat you like family – We pick you up, drop you off and leave fresh baked cookies on your car seat.”

Do You Know What You Don’t Want for Your Own Business?

When you are creating something like an Action Plan for your own business, the foundational work of energy management can be one of the most important things that you can do to truly be able to achieve what it is that you want.
And in order to really get what you want, it is surprisingly helpful to first list what it is that you don’t want.
i.e. What I Don’t Want:
I don’t want to have to figure out how to create my own business and feel burdened to carry the load of creation and implementation by myself.
What I Don’t Want to Feel:
I don’t want to feel overwhelmed or stressed. I don’t want to feel direction-less. I don’t want to feel like I am doing this by myself.
Getting all of these “Don’t Wants” out of your system helps you to both acknowledge that they are there, and to dissipate the energy that is around them.
When you have laid this at a foundational level, you can begin to think of the categories for creating your action plan, and begin another helpful foundational tool, the Order Form to the Universe.
The following examples may be some of the types of categories you would have in an Action Plan for your business:
- My Attitudes/Perceptions
- Advisory Board
- Financial Resources/Financing
- Paperwork and Legal Documentation
- Location
- Support Staff – Volunteer and Paid
- Mission/Vision
- Marketing
- Fund raising Avenues
- Time Frames
Creating Order Forms to the Universe goes hand in hand with creating your Action Plan – it is a complete integration of spiritual energy management that will help you detangle your energy and pre-pave all of the steps for the actions that you want to take.
The purpose of the Order Form to the Universe is for you to identify what you want and then watch for all the positive evidences of how the Universe will work to support you. It is a customized way for you to identify exactly what you want in a way that will be absolutely perfect for you.
The Order Form to the Universe is an easy way of partnering with Spirit and surrendering your “I wants” to Spirit.
It allows for easy and effortless flow, so that you don’t have to work or push so hard for things, which tends to tempt you into thinking that you are suffering too much.
You can use the Order Form to the Universe as a tool to first determine, and then acquire what you want.

Do You Ever Feel so Tangled up That You Can’t Move Forward in Your Own Business?

Just over a year ago, my family and I experienced the serious illness of my Mom, and all my brothers and sisters had to deal with this situation together.
Everything was ambiguous and we didn’t know what was going to happen for sure. We couldn’t even make plans.
What I needed to keep saying to all of the others was, “You know, we just have to take this one step at a time. We don’t know what the end result is going to be.
“We don’t even know what’s going to happen from moment to moment because it’s all uncertain. So what we need to do is soften this whole experience, right?
“Would you agree that no matter what happens we’re going to have to deal with it in the moment? But we can soften it a little bit by acknowledging that right now, here is where we are.
“What we have to do is understand that we can’t fix this right now”.
I said this in front of all our family members. “Can we all be Ok with the fact that we can’t fix this right now? Can we all agree that right now we can’t fix this?”
They were like, “Yeah. OK, then what can we do? Where can we find our place of power even now in what seems like a place of no power.”
This was the softening that we all needed to cope with the unknown and still be in the present to take action as needed.
You will often find yourself in situations in life or in your own business or career where you are in a point of what I call tangled energy. It’s like you’re in the middle of a big knot and you can’t get out and you can’t go farther because you’re just stuck!
When you feel that way, try the following steps for detangling your energy. You won’t be able to move beyond a blockade in your own business, or even forward to managing your energy around it until you are able to first smooth out the knot! Read more
